Ingredients:
- 200g of flour
- 100g of butter
- 70g of sugar powder
- 1 vanilla sugar
- 75g of crushed walnuts
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 baking powder
- 2 spoons of rum
- 2 spoons of (double) cream
- honey
- 150g of hazelnuts
How to make it
Beat the butter with the sugar, then add the yolk, the cream, and the rum and mix it good. After some time add the walnuts, flour and baking powder. Mix it all together. It’s better not to use the mixer, and instead use your hands to make a homogeneous dough. Then shape it into hearts and other forms, as you wish.
Bake everything for 20-25 minutes. While the cookies are still warm, spread them with a little bit of honey and then sprinkle them with crushed hazelnuts. Serve everything cold.
