Cornbread with Swiss chard

21 Nov

The Serbian name of this dish is Projara sa blitvom. I found out on Wikipedia that projara is a fancy variant 😀 of proja (another well known Serbian traditional dish made from corn flour).

  • 4 eggs
  • 3 coffee cups of oil
  • 4 cups of milk
  • 4 cups of corn flour
  • 4 cups of wheat flour
  • 10g baking powder
  • a little bit of salt
  • 300g cheese
  • 300g Swiss chard (or if you don't have it you can use spinach)

If you use fresh Swiss chard or spinach, boil it for about 10 minutes before use.
Mix everything and bake.
