White city

18 Jan

For some time now, I went to sleep hoping to see snow through my window the next morning. It finally happened and it makes me happy. Many times I caught myself looking at the snow and smiling because I remembered my childhood and how carelessly I played outside.

Winter has come indeed. In Eastern Siberia people say that the day lengthens and cold strengthens! I like winter too. When I was schoolboy I liked to play snowball fight and to build a snowman.

@Darko- I always imagined Canada with a lot of snow..but I see the things are changing. I read recently that in Sahara fell snow 😀 @Mit- wow! Summer..that's really soon 🙂 @Jill- Thank you dear  I like birches, they are pretty.@Andrew- I love winter. When I was a kid we really had much more snow. I like to sled, I would still do that if I had enough snow and some hills. But here where I live now everything is flat. My parent's home is on the hill

Mira I suppose you are brave. In my boyhood days I liked to slide downhill on a sledge too! But my favorite were ski-running and skate-racing…

There is so much snow here but now when I finally have time to sleigh I can't because snow is too high 😦 I guess there's more snow in Timisoara now, do you have some new pictures?
