Wedding

18 Sep

At the beginning of September we were invited to a wedding. I have been to many weddings that were more traditional ones, with only folk and traditional music and usually many guests, sometimes over 200. Imagine with how many people the bride and groom had to kiss and shake hands, many of them they barely known.

Now the things are changing, people tend to organize smaller weddings, and the music is more diverse, from pop, rock, Latino, to classic and traditional one. This is how it was on this wedding. I enjoyed dancing and I tried to learn Romanian traditional dances. I like them and Serbian dances too. They are a bit similar. All Balkan music has something in common. And this music always reaches my heart and makes me want to dance.

I took a few pictures: …

Every guest got this package of cookies when the party was over:

NIce pictures! And there is always something special in a wedding. I like attending wedding ceremony and party. There is always a touching moment. A time to remember that the children are going to lead their own family and how the parents will send them in the right ways. 🙂

"the music is more diverse, from pop, rock, Latino, to classic and traditional one." I like this 🙂 I hate that turbo folk music they usually play for weddings in Serbia. "Every guest got this package of cookies when the party was over"Very nice :chef:
