I have been searching for a long time for some cookies to go nice with tea, as I like to start my day with a cup of sweet tea. I tried a few recipes and I think I found a suitable one 😉

How to make these cookies:
Ingredients:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 125 g sugar
  • 3 pouches of vanilla sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of margarine
  • 4 tablespoons sour cream
  • 200 g flour
  • a little bit baking powder
  • powdered sugar to decorate

Preparation: In a bowl, mix yolks with sugar, vanilla and sour cream. When it's creamy, add margarine and stir until smooth. Add flour and baking powder, mix in the beginning with a wooden spoon after by hand, until it's smooth. Keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes. After that you make stars using a special shape and bake them for 10-15 minutes. While the stars are still warm sprinkle them with sugar powder.

Thank you 🙂 I used margarine Rama, it's easy to work with. With egg white you can make omelet, just add some more eggs.
